It’s Friday! How are y’all feeling?

I am ready for Fall – vampy colors, chunky sweaters, floppy hats & boots – but the California weather won’t cooperate with me. Just when I think the crisp Fall weather is here to stay, we get another burst of sunshine and warm temperatures.

I guess I really shouldn’t complain about the sunny weather. There are benefits of the Fall “heatwave” like fresh limes from my in-law’s garden. I can’t wait to use them for cilantro lime dressing and, of course, mojitos.

This week I had a great time at SF Open Studios at Hunter’s Point Shipyard! It was fun checking out artwork, peeking inside artists’ studios, discovering new artists and re-connecting with old friends. I have a few artist interview posts in the works!

A friend went to see the Issey Miyake Exhibition at the National Art Center in Tokyo a few months ago. She was nice enough to bring back a copy of the museum booklet for me. Fun fact about Issey Miyake: he’s the designer behind Steve Job’s iconic black turtle necks.

I pulled out a few other pieces from my flat files that I picked up when I was in Europe. I am working on a multi-lingual campaign and I’m doing a bit of research on non-Roman Alphabet font sets for the project.

Those are a few quick highlights from my week! What’s good with you?
