It’s Friday! How are y’all feeling?

For me it’s been a fun and busy week filled with proposals, logo sketches and color palettes. I recently posted about parring down my magazine collection; but this edition of Vanity Fair was a keeper. There are some things that I will never get tired of seeing time and time again; the art of Jean-Michel Basquiat is one of those things.

This stunning photo of Kathleen Cleaver jumped out at me when I saw the All Power to the People: Black Panthers at 50 Exhibition earlier this week at the Oakland Museum of California. I will share more about the exhibit in an upcoming post.

I finally saw The New Edition Story on BET. So good! It bought back a lot of good memories…and some not so good memories like that super tense interview on Video Soul.

After watching everything that went on behind the scenes, I have a much greater appreciation for all the trials and tribulations these guys endured on the road to fame. I wonder how different their story would be if their rise to fame happened during the digital age and they had greater control over the rights to their music. Gotta love the way Michael Bivins has leveled-up his business game though.

After weeks and weeks of rain, it looks like we are finally going to have a sunny weekend here in San Francisco. I dusted off my shades and I am ready for the weekend!

Those are some of the highlights from my week – tell me about some of the “Good Stuff” that happened for you this week.

GOOD STUFF! showcases a few of the “good” things I enjoy during the week. You can find more “GOOD STUFF” here.
