Happy Friday and Happy St. Patrick’s Day! How are y’all feeling? I won’t be doing the “green beer thing” this year, but I am wearing my favorite green shirt and there’s definitely a Shamrock Shake in the forecast for me.

This week has been a whirlwind; I mean that in the best way possible. I said “yes” to some exciting (but intimidating) projects and it’s been exhilarating to jump in and tackle new challenges.

I spotted this cool mural when I was at the Creative Live Studios in San Francisco earlier this week. Creative Live is a great interactive platform that allows a global audience to watch live online workshops for free and interact with instructors in real time (courses are available for purchase later). I was part of the live audience for the Interaction Design workshop led by Jamal Nichols. I learned a ton about creating meaningful and intuitive digital experiences…and I am convinced that Jamal Nichols is the Boris Kodjoe of the UI/UX World. Yeah, you can quote me on that.

Last Friday the pot of gold at the end of hectic work week was going to see Dru Hill and sitting in the front row! I had a bit of a fan-girl moment when Sisqo reached down and held my hand while he was singing. They performed all of their solo and group hits and they still have all the dance moves. It was an amazing show!
