It’s Friday! How are y’all feeling?

Friday afternoons are usually when I pour myself a cup of tea, start tying up loose ends, map out a plan for next week and tidy up things around my studio. Not today.

Today the game plan is a little different – I still have a ton of work to get done so I am pouring a cup of tea, taking a break to write a quick post and tackling another few hours of work.

Speaking of “a cup of tea”…I saw Get Out last weekend. Wow. I don’t know exactly how to describe; it’s too complex to be written off as a horror/scary movie. I would probably describe it as a “cultural thriller”. I definitely wouldn’t mind seeing it again.

Have you seen it yet?

The standout highlight of my week was attending the red carpet opening of Eclipsed in San Francisco. Eclipsed is a play written by Danai Gurira that tells an emotional story of five women during the Second Liberian War. It was amazing. I’ll be sharing more details in an upcoming post.

Well, I’m back to work. Tell me about some of the “Good Stuff” that happened for you this week.

GOOD STUFF! showcases a few of the “good” things I enjoy during the week. You can find more “GOOD STUFF” here.
