I didn’t go to Mardi Gras, but I still had a pretty wild and crazy week. It wasn’t a “beads & booze” variety of crazy…it was  more of the “deadlines & technical glitches” type of crazy. Sometimes you just have to roll with the punches. Besides, having a hectic week just makes the weekend feel even more enjoyable.

Whenever I wasn’t using my second monitor for design work, I was watching makeup tutorials on YouTube. I think I watched about fifty billion of them. I am trying to figure out the best way to do makeup for being on camera in HD. I am going to be part of a live studio audience (nah, not the Price is Right) and I want to be neither ashy nor shiny. It’s a delicate balance, people.

All the New York fashion week round-ups have me feeling inspired to step up my wardrobe game a bit. Kaye, Chriselle and Aimee have some pretty awesome write-ups on their websites. Since I wasn’t able to be front in center in NYC, I dug into some books by The Sartorialist (aka Scott Schuman) to get some fresh outfit ideas. I paged through this one, this one and this one too.

After a pretty wild work week, I’m looking forward to a relaxing low-key weekend. What’s going on for you? Tell me about some of the “Good Stuff” that happened for you this week.
