It’s Monday!

This morning I am inspired by all the pretty green leaves in my studio. I’ve always loved plants, but my current work space makes it difficult to care for them. Stated simply, they die.

I recently wrote a post about plants that prosper in less than ideal conditions. I have a pathos plant that’s faring well, but I also discovered another trick from my local florist. She suggested getting a few tropical leaf stems to put in vases around my studio. You just put them in water, as you would do with fresh flowers, and they are sturdy enough to last for 3-4 weeks with little care. Love it!

Not only do they add a gorgeous pop of green and a tropical feel to the studio, they’re also a cool source of inspiration.

Monday Motivation is a quick mood board that I make to kick-start my work week. You can check out what “motivated” me in past weeks here.
